My family and I totally enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. The atmosphere at this place was very welcoming and friendly. We loved the environment, beautiful view of the mountains and river flowing through the property. There was friendly animals as well, good experience for the youngsters

My fiance and I decided to book the Winter Special at Cango Retreat because we needed an escape. And we made the right choice by visiting this tranquil spot! Although it was just two nights away, we hiked, braaied, kayaked, made many cosy fires and took advantage of the warm jacuzzi. Special thanks to Mariska and Inge for adding a special bottle of champagne in our room and being so accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

We decided on a last minute trip to see the snow - and booked at the Cango Retreat. The response time was very fast and efficient. It is a great place for kids, with so many things for them to do - including walks, playing in the river, a swing over the river and animals to pet. It was also a great location to get to the Swartberg Pass (and Prince Albert), and we did a lovely drive past the Rust en Vrede waterfall to De Rust and then through Meringspoort. The kids also loved Wilgewandel which was 6.5kms away. The accommodation was comfortable and reasonably priced. And Oudtshoorn itself has so much to see - we will definitely be back.

Ou Tol Bliss .This was a weekend we never can forget.While there we got some sad news.Ou Tol is beautifull, relaxing,so peaceful we really enjoy our time spend at ou Tol.The animals o my grandchildren couldn't get enough of them.They said wish they could stay there forever.What a paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cango Retreat. From the warm greeting when checking in, to the clean and well fitted out accommodation, as well as the lovely interactions with the resident pets, we had a ball. Beautiful setting with the river and green lawns. We will be back for another visit.

What an amazing stay. Staff was very helpful and informative, the cabin has everything you need and is very neat & tidy. The ambience is tranquil. The highlight of our stay was the obedient, loving, friendly animals.

One of the best places i have stayed..Location is really great..Environment is so relaxed.. Very beautiful place..Ill definitely be referring my friends and family to the Retreat.. We will be returning as well there.
